How did Jews first come to the United States?
What types of persecution and anti-semitism have Jews faced
in America?
What effect did immigration quotas have on the Jews in
America and Europe?
How did the Reform, Conservative and Orthodox movements
begin in the United States and where are they today?

LEARNING
VALUABLE LESSONS FROM THE WORDS OF THE BIBLE:
Mondays at 6 PM
The Bible is not just a
storybook, but is actually an instruction manual for living,
relayed to us directly from
G-d. However, the
simple understanding of Bible stories as children does not yield
the depth that comes from analyzing these stories as adults.
This course will explore several different “Bible
Stories” and see the depth of the ideas that can be gleaned from
them.
